Rik started in Technology as a second career in 1998 as an IT Support Analyst on a Trading floor for an American Bank in Tokyo Japan. Since then, he has lead IT Support teams in all forms of ITSM Roles across 3 Industries: Banking, Advisory Consulting and Manufacturing. Experience across all ITIL Process areas within ITSM and has developed a deep knowledge in ServiceNow with a focus on the Common Service Data Model and its components. Certified ITIL Managing professional with a passion for the practic.:

Prior to his careering in Technology, Rik also served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. First in Artillery, then shifting into Public Affairs as a Combat Correspondent with a primary role in Broadcasting.

His Service continues today as a tenured Captain in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary non-Profit, Civil Air Patrol.
